Wacom Cintiq 24 HD tablet

Its hard not to love Wacom tablets. I have been an avid fan of Wacom since the first day I set my eyes on one, when I was working at Bounty’s New-media department as an Interactive designer.

I was lucky enough to be asked by my head of department “Do you want a mouse or a tablet?”. I was offered a Wacom A3 tablet with stylus and a mouse with a dual-sided scroll wheel, and was just a joy to use. Wacom are the only tablet developers that have a patent on its stylus pen technology, so that they don’t need batteries to function. This is why Wacom are the best in the industry when it comes to professional tablets, as any alternative tablet on the market will have to use batteries in the stylus.

Wacom have a range of tablets to suit everyone from the web designer, video artist, CAD or architect. Wacoms flagship range Cintiq are the best you can buy for your money and the 24HD is featured in the above video. They also have a mid range series called Intuos, and a level entry range tablet series called Bamboo.
